• On 19 February 2024, the Government announced that seven medical institutions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) have been included in the Elderly Health Care Voucher GBA Pilot Scheme (Pilot Scheme). The pilot medical institutions are expected to gradually launch the relevant arrangements under Pilot Scheme starting from the third quarter of 2024 and enable eligible Hong Kong elderly persons to use elderly health care vouchers to pay for services received.
